Mix engineer and producer, from Quito-Ecuador. Founder of Mix Like a Girl, she created a Music production and mixing program for women who want to take a step into the music industry, giving them a space to learn and share their ideas, getting feedback and mentorship for the best engineers of the world.

She is the cofounder and coordinator of the Beats by Girlz Chapter in Ecuador.

Awarded by: The Audio and Engineering Society, API Audio and Berklee College of Music in Music Production,  Composing, Recording and Mixing areas.

Rachel Alina is a Brooklyn-based mixing engineer, poet, and instructor at Berklee College of Music. 

She's worked on recordings for Katy Perry, King Garbage, Selena Gomez, Greg Wells, Helado Negro, Stephen Marley, Gabriel Garzón Montano, Elena Rose, and others. She's worked in some of today's legendary studios and learned from the best in the music business.

Rachel is part of the MLAG board and guest instructor.

6 time Grammy nominated record producer, music mixer and programmer, song writer, song doctor, sonic architect and explorer. best known for his work with Bjork (in the studio and on stage), The Prodigy, The Killers, Arcade Fire, UNKLE, TR/ST, Odette, The Temper Trap, City of the Sun, and Dizzy.

Damian has been deeply involved in pushing the boundaries of music technology, from traditional engineering to in depth digital editing, processing and mixing through all kinds of electronic instruments all the way over to software design and development.

Founder of the Complete Produce Network, Damian ins not only an amazing producer but an educator and we are more than grateful to have him with MLAG!

RECORDING, MIXING AND SOUND ENGINEER. Gab has been part of numerous choirs and musical theater productions. After completing his degree in Music Composition his career took a turn towards technology and engineering, this combination of both, musical and technical training gained him a spot on the masters degree at McGill where he had the chance to learn and work with industry top sound engineers.

During the course of his career he has been able to work with  many different musical genres such as: baroque and classical concert recordings, jazz and rock studio recordings, folk Ukrainian music, live sound for concerts and post-production for short films. Part of his work also includes the recording of the Vancouver Olympics 2010 music as an assistant engineer for CTV.

Gab also worked for Bell Media - CTV and Discovery Channel Canada as a freelance post-production engineer in shows like Mighty Planes, Alien Mysteries and Mighty Ships.

In 2013 he moved to Ecuador to take a teaching position at Universidad San Francisco de Quito in the Music Production Department, a Berklee International Network School.

He is an AMAZING engineer, his way of teaching will make you fall in love with audio, MLAG is thrilled to have him with us!

Composer, singer-songwriter, vocal producer and educator from Bogotá, Colombia based in Quito, Ecuador. Laura has sung with some great artists from the Colombian scene such as María Mulata and Inés Granja. She is currently working on his first full-length album and on various projects in the local Quito scene. Plus, Laura is managing MusicLab, the first Berklee City Music Global Network out of the U.S where she is also a vocal coach. She is the cofounder and coordinator of the Beats by Girlz Chapter in Ecuador. USFQ-COM Summa Cum Laude.

Her musical talent combined with her amazing passion towards education make Laura a really important asset to the MLAG team and we are thrilled to have her with us.

Valerie is a music producer, singer, songwriter, and educator. Over the past 14 years, Valerie has toured the US with her band and solo, and independently released 4 full length albums, 3 EPs and numerous singles. Together with a Grammy-award winner, she co-produced her most recent, most politically and culturally relevant, and most daring album yet, Rabbit Hole, (released December 2020). 

As a Teaching Artist, Valerie co-leads Beats By Girlz NYC where she teaches girls, trans, and gender-expansive youth who are often economically disadvantaged.

 Valerie has developed and run several beatmaking intensives at high schools in the US. During quarantine, Valerie successfully co-founded Song Camp, a virtual music production and songwriting camp that focuses on building co-writing, collaboration, and communication skills. She continues to teach private lessons online.

KUINVI she is a Florida - Based producer, beat maker and mixing engineer, plus she's also a singer and songwriter, graduated from Berklee College of Music, she was able to work and learn from the best in the music industry.

KUINVI has worked in some of today's biggest studios and with some amazing artists, she's full of talent and MLAG is thrilled to have her as part of the board.

LU is a Berklee alumni, Music producer and Engineer, singer, musician, vocal producer, she has worked and learn from Enrique Gonzales Muller, Prince Charles Alexander, Susan Rogers, she performed at the Latin Grammys with Alejandro Sanz and as if that wasn't enough Lu worked in Berlin on  Funk Haus Berlin and later on Abbey Road Studios.

MLAG is thrilled to have Lu joining the team as she is our MELODYNE EXPERT!

Dr. Angela Dane lives in Seattle, Washington, and teaches Women's Studies She is a Staff Writer and Editor for Tom Tom Magazine, the only publication in the world dedicated to female and non-binary percussionists. She owns and operates the only female and black-owned drum studio in Seattle dedicated to empowering women through the drum kit, Atrocity Drums. 

 She founded gear fanatix, a site dedicated to empowering underrepresented voices in audio through demos, reviews, and a forum.
